My fika today is the result of winning a five pound bag of salt potatoes (as part of a larger gift basket) at the annual Roselli Reunion yesterday. Cooked ’em up this morning before the 90°F / 32°C heat rolled in.
A pint glass full of ice and fizzy water, a spouted shot glass full of espresso, and a small bowl with a half dozen small potatoes. These are outdoors on a tray with the text “In Sweden we call it fika.” The pint glass has “Hello, my name is” and written in Sharpie on the blank line below it is “Salt Spud.”
