I really like Sublime Text, and I've paid for it for years. But it really feels like the ecosystem is decaying--it's hard to find good syntax plugins, themes have weird behavior, and some of the built-in language support is pretty buggy.
I'm not interested in switching to VSCode or anything coming out of the VC/AI ecosystem (see: Zed). But I worry that I'm basically either stuck in Sublime with all the highlighting disabled, or going to end up in (shudder) emacs.
