Vet called with Watson’s annual. #dogs
Everything is great, but they found traces of Ehrlichia, a tic-born disease. No symptoms, his system probably fought it off and we never noticed.
He’s a city dog.
He has NEVER been to a nature reserve, camping, etc. He’s reactive to other dogs so he stays in our house, plays frisbee in our fenced yard, and is never outside without us.
Our #Chicago vet said they see this more lately, suggesting some tics might be migrating. Careful out there y’all.
