But if I may critique one part of it:

I'm quite sure that few, if any, Trump voters think of what they want in those terms. Straw-manning the other side seems like the wrong strategy.
But then, maybe I'm making the typical white-moderate mistake of giving too much benefit of the doubt to the wrong side.
