Advocating for victim's rights would be a stronger platform if the value of their testimony was not being reduced by the possibility of Stockholm's Syndrome.
Meanwhile, we cannot reason with testimony alone due to the possibility of human error and bias.
We need to teach potential victims how to protect themselves and gather strong evidence to support their testimonies.
Legal literacy is not a luxury.
