Our son, a sophomore at MTU, attended his first hockey game (against NMU) last night. He's hooked! I can't blame him as Michigan Tech is often referred to as the birthplace of the NHL (debatable with some Canadians). There is a tradition with the student section where each person opens up a copy of the school newspaper and reads it while the opposing team is being introduced on the ice.
