14/ Back to the book. Chapter 2 falls into the trap that is laid there by neoliberalism “It’s on you to prove that central planning can work as well or better than free markets” - and I hate it. I don’t have a lot of feelings about central planning, but I really don’t feel that neoliberalism should get to define terms or lay down fundamental assumptions about whether “The Market” works. C’mon, they’re a train wreck, don’t let them define the conversation or the terms.
