i've given up on finding a publisher for my blasphemous, incest-laden stories.
i'm going to self-publish them as a series of zines. i've got two issues ready so far, and soon as the next one is ready, i'll be selling them in person around Portland. i'll let ya know when and where.
from the first volume:
The characters in these stories are based on the Gods and Goddesses of Ancient Sumer. Any resemblance to actual, living Mortals is very unlikely.
The author admits to taking liberties with some of their tales, and exaggerating certain of their characteristics. The author actually, truly believes that the Gods and Goddesses mentioned in these stories are actual, living Beings, and does not wish to anger them, nor incur their wrath, so he prays they understand the stories are primarily meant as entertainment, and are not meant to be taken very seriously. But – honestly – what the fuck? Ya’ll (the afore-mentioned “Gods”) cannot defeat Life Itself. Just think about that for a minute before ya’ll decide on some sort of Terrible Retribution for the sacrilege contained herein. It’s only make-believe.
But, then again…where does reality truly originate? Our consciousness? Can we just think up some new reality, and reality adjusts to our imaginations? Change your mind, change reality? Right? Wrong? What?
