I find it mildly infuriating when the artist youtubers I watch don't have any understanding of the materials that they are "testing" or "reviewing".
It takes hardly any time at all to look into a product, hell sometimes I know more about a material because I read the product page on Blick. Watching these "reviews" is like reading a book review when the person didn't read the book.
I don't mind when someone is new to a material and still learning how to use it. Those videos can be fun. The youtuber that I'm thinkng of comes off more gimicky than genuine in this approach though.
