i dunno this remaster of this brainchild track is a perfect example of why i stopped ever going back and trying to remix or remaster things
yes it sounds better, sound quality is vastly improved -- i can now hear all the little nuance and detail in every individual part and they all sound better. if i was the artist, this would be the more perfect representation of all of what i was trying to communicate in the original....
however...
he nailed it the first time, everything fit together perfectly and had all that raw energy from the original performance still dripping off it, all that nuance and detail was in there, we got it, loved it... and any attempt to recreate that will apparently always feel a little flat compared to that..
