Went to the local entertainment exchange to sell some underplayed games. Got an offer of $20 in store credit or $10 cash. I looked over what they had and didn't see much, but Pandemic On The Brink caught my eye. It was on sale for $25, I love Pandemic, so I got it.

I being it home and... It's not On The Brink. Long story short, someone had packed On The Brink, State of Emergency AND a regular Pandemic set (board, city cards, etc) all in the same box. It took a while, but I realized that too many materials from On The Brink were missing, and that outweighed the other stuff.

So I go all the way back to the west side of town (I'm on the east side) to do a return. I try to get my refunded store credit in cash, but since I'd apparently already crossed the Rubicon as far as that choice goes, I was stuck with store credit.

I grumble a bit as I got back to the shelves and then I see it: OATH. For $50.

I grab it and request to do a full inventory before purchase, and the cashier obliges. It's a full set.

And that's how I welcomed Oath into the collection.
