There is nothing wrong with desiring attention. It is a natural part of being human. As social beings we seek each other's attention, so that we may be social with one another. Our current society though has taught many unsafe and unhealthy means of gaining attention. Mostly because it is hard for us to be heard over all the advertising noise that swallows up the quiet voices among us.
