I can’t believe I’m saying this, given MNS’s track record, but “Trap” is one of the best movies I’ve seen in theaters this year. It’s a very effective thriller, and the rare thriller where everyone is smart, as opposed to most of them where most people have to be stupid to make the plot work.
The acting in particular made it so effective, and a special shoutout to the actress who played the daughter, because she made me forget that she was acting. She just *was* that character.
