I just replaced my DualSense battery myself, yay. 😁
As much as I dislike Sony for MANY business decisions and "morals", I'm happy that their console stuff seems to be relatively easy to repair and switch parts.
(Well... anything that's not the boards directly, at least.)
(This is, sadly, not sponsored by iFixit. 😁)
A white PS5 controller is placed on a reflection blue plastic mat with several libes on it. Next to it is a small controller battery, screwdriver, plastic picks, tweezers and a small, lengthy plastic stick. On top a small kit of bits and other accessory is visible. My hand on the left is visible wearing bright anti-static gloves and an anti-static wristband. Seberal visible pieces where the blue iFixit logo resembling the top of a Phillip's screw slightly.
The cobtroller is now standing on the mat, backside removed, the insides partially visible, mostly the vibration motors, part of the circuit board and the newly attached battery. In the background the old battery and the removed white case of the controller are visible.
