I currently use something along the lines of:
(defun my-eww-reload-as-reader ()
(interactive)
(let ((eww-retrieve-command '("rdrview" "-H")))
(eww-reload)))
which relies on rdrview (https://github.com/eafer/rdrview) to have eww display a web page in "reader view" in #emacs.
This got me thinking if anyone has already experimented with implementing such a thing in elisp without external dependencies? I think libxml-parse-html-region & then reducing as much as possible could be a good start?
