I still remember how both BBC and commercial radio was very wary of encouraging the #rave scene in the early 90s (although it changed by late 90s). Interestingly there was way more #drugs on that scene but relatively little #violence, until UK Garage started getting popular and there was more emphasis on #fashion #bling and #money on that scene compared to just partying and having a good time...
