Changing the male protagonist's model in a video game to that of a female former side character deeply changed my perception of the game. It's just a skin, but as in most open world sandbox games half of the gaming fun is the narrative that you spin in your own head. And that narrative changes significantly with the new model. It helps that she had a full fledged backstory in the original game that tracks with this one.
