A #Roman wreck of a cargo barge found in 1890 in the Ljubljanica river, #Slovenia. It’s ca. 30m long and dates to the end of the 1st c. BC. With a maximum cargo capacity of about 70 tons and a draught of only 40cm, the barge was particularly suitable for transporting heavy goods in the calm waters of the Ljubljanica river.
