#Android #Backup "Do I need to ROOT my new phone?"
My experience: If you want to have mostly EVERYTHING (apps AND appdata, files, settings,...) transfered to your new phone, you need to have root to backup on the OLD phone.
PROBLEM HEREBY:
If you root, this will FORCE a factory reset, which means theres will be no data for backup/restore! Ups!!
This is why you MUST decide about root as soon as you get a new phone!
You decision is essential to transport to your NEXT phone.
Funny, eh?
Thank god I already rooted (0)
Ups, now I know... (0)
Anyway: I won't root! (0)
