Mein Verhältnis zu Schwimmbädern ist ambivalent. Es oszilliert zwischen Faszination und Unbehagen.
My relationship with swimming pools is ambivalent. It oscillates between fascination and discomfort.

Vor einer riesigen gekachelten Wand befindet sich ein Schwimmbecken mit mehreren Sprungtürmen, auf denen Schwimmer zum Sprung bereit stehen. Ein haushohes Bein ragt wie ein weiterer Sprungturm in die Höhe. Von oben begegnet ihm ein zweites Bein, sodass sich die Fußsohlen berühren. Von rechts schwebt ein Frauentorso wie ein Korallenfisch ins Bild. Am vorderen linken Bildrand grinst eine Schwimmerin mit Badekappe den Betrachter herausfordernd an. Ihr Gesicht ist bereits von Kacheln überzogen. In front of a huge tiled wall is a swimming pool with several diving towers on which swimmers are ready to jump.
