I took a week off, doing mainly R&D and found some very inspiring solutions.
First finding:
With a new process I was able to spin up a running Kimai in just a few minutes at Hetzner-Cloud and DigitalOcean.
How?
Setting up a Docker CE image and then cloning a Docker-Compose repository, which uses Caddy as reverse proxy in front of Kimai.
