I know a lot of people think unlimited PTO is a red flag at a company, or a scam - but I've worked exclusively at companies with unlimited PTO for almost a decade and I would argue it really depends on the company and the managers. I have never had a PTO request denied, and am often encouraged to take more.
Apparently I only took 8 days in H1 (I had more scheduled but ended up cancelling for personal stuff, not work) and my manager told me I needed to take more.
I am taking 2 weeks off soon.
