In the 1995 film “Mallrats” by Kevin Smith, filmed at Eden Prairie Mall in Minnesota, Smith’s movie series hoodlums Jay & Silent Bob are chased by a mall security guard named LaFours.
“That dude’s faster than Walt Flanagan’s dog,” says Jay. Walt Flanagan was a childhood friend of Smith’s and has been mentioned in several of his movies.
WALZ/Flanagan are the current Governor and Lt. Governor of Minnesota. No relation.
