The Guardian’s seeming lack of interest in #openaccess never ceases to amaze me. I would have thought that vast corporations bleeding dry academia and the public purse would be right up their street and of enormous interest to their readers. However, short of the occasional opinion piece, one feature article in 2017 and the odd jab at Elsevier, they don’t seem to be interested.
