Susan Wojcicki, is featured in Taylor Lorenz' book, p 66f. She took the initiative to decide against saving the (boring) Google Video in 2006, and instead betting on YouTube, with their risky (copyright issues!, and nobody understood if this was just a flash in the pan, back then) approach of embracing "creators". (Don't confuse these with "influencers", which wasn't a popular concept at this point.)
