Goddess figurine made about 25,000 years ago from a soft green stone called serpentine. It is 22.5 cm high and was discovered in 1925 near Savignano sul Panaro, northern part of Italy.
It’s considered the largest such figurine of the Upper Palaeolithic, it has typically overemphasised feminine features and in some points a few traces of red ochre paint are still visible.
