The user BzickOff reported at birdsite that she was unable to withdraw money from her Buy Me a Coffee.
When she contacted the service’s technical support, she received a response that “due to increasingly complex liability and sanctions,” the company “no longer accepts new authors from Ukraine.” Their logic: 20% of Ukraine’s territory is subject to sanctions intended for russia, thus the whole Ukraine, even not occupied, should be cut off from the service.
