Alright, some of these guys are getting their act together. We're not quite there yet, but it's promising.
Globe thistle in the foreground, cardinal flowers are brilliant behind it
Really bland green coneflowers bottom, pink phlox next, then false sunflower right with cardinal flower center back. Street with a car parked, then a glimpse of a home across.
Cardinal flower takes center stage at the top and bottom of frame. Heliopsis along the bottom as well with pink phlox sprinkled in the center. With all of these photos there is lots of green foliage in the background. Milkweeds, two foot grasses, and yes, weeds.
Taken from farther back. Salvias and speed wells lower front in purple, blue, and white. Then the phlox, cardinal flower and heliopsis.
