I don't normally play pure abstracts, but I was visiting a friend and we were too hot and tired to play anything heavy, so this was perfect.
The whole game is about how unintuitive it is to move pieces perpendicular to other pieces in a row. It took two plays to get a grip on the basics, but we got there eventually.
I miss the days when German games had huge solid wooden pieces.
