250 words into writing a multi-toot thread on comparing Sailor Moon, anime versus manga, and I thought "What am I doing?"
Short version: Both are good, much better than you probably think. They were much better than I ever expected, for sure.
The anime is way goofier than the manga, but in the best way. I feel the manga could stand to be fleshed out a little, but it's still an excellent heartfelt superhero adventure.
