Because of the nature of my yard (small city lot, steep hill, pavers making patios and a walkway, detached garage) I trim more than I mow. I have what I consider to be a pretty good electric rechargeable yard trimmer, but I've had to replace it three times for dumb reasons.
The first was because it didn't survive the move north from Florida. It got on the truck, but it didn't get off. We can all draw our own conclusions about what may have befallen it.
