Making some notes in my journal, and I am being aurally assaulted by the most horrific tantrum-y screaming by a child in an apartment across the way -
It gave me a story idea;
Like Hitchcock's rear window, but instead of the protagonist watching his neighbours and being convinced one of them has committed murder, the protagonist eve-drops on his neighbours and then hears murders in all their grisly detail.
just a rough idea, needs work, but it goes in the book.
