My Mandarin Chinese #LanguageLearning is, much as my Japanese was for the first five-ish years, composed of cycling phases of dedication.
1. devotion (short length)
2. frequent efforts (medium)
3. sporadic efforts (long)
Sometimes there will be several 2s and 3s before another 1, but I'm pleased to report I'm currently in a 1! These are the most fun, since I devote myself when I truly want to and not for any external goal.
I'll revert to a 2 or 3 soon but I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts~
