This struck me -
Rather than a universal "Oval Office" announcement (understanding that he is hoarse & coughing), the announcement was made on "X". Many people left X quite a while ago, so we're at a distinct disadvantage when Biden made his announcement. I presume there were reasons, but it made me feel unseen. (Just whining - heard within moments)
