If the government cuts capital projects to try and fill operational budgets then they will be proving early on that they are not financial competent.
Borrowing for capital projects is fine. It always has been. For the simple reason that those projects end up boosting the economy longer term. Especially infrastructure.
I hope Labour aren't just going to be grandstanding.
