The science concept on this one is fun. I’m not sure cosmic strings are real but still one dimensional beings dragging the ship into danger is a neat puzzle to deal with. The A story is really rough. I’m not sure the disability theory would have held up in 1990. In 2024, it’s troubling. Marina did her best with what was, for her character, an awkward script.
