WATCH FOR HEAVY RAINFALL:
The #scattered #showers and #thunderstorms passing through the #Northland this afternoon are not moving very fast. That means #heavy #rainfall is likely if caught under one.
Greatest concern for possible #flooding is southern Douglas, northern Burnett, and northwest Washburn counties.
A view of the radar over the southern half of the Northland at 2:20 p.m. on July 22, 2024. It shows a scattering of showers and thunderstorms along and south of Highway 2. They are moving quite slowly, possibly no more than 5 miles per hour.
The area of greatest concern for heavy rainfall and possible flash flooding is southern Douglas, northern Burnett, and northwest Washburn counties. Radar estimated totals from this precipitation cell is up to 2-inches in spots.
