Skies will become partly cloudy across the Northland, but some patchy fog is possible. Where this doesn't form, the Northern Lights could be seen. Light winds will help cool temperatures to the upper 40s and 50s for lows.

The Northland will see more sunshine Wednesday as a high-pressure system comes into the Great Lakes region. A light lake breeze will keep the Lake Superior shoreline communities in the upper 60s and low 70s for highs, with mid-70s further inland.
