... again on baldur. I logged in via IPMI - just to realize it was "gate" which I rebooted.
So I had a storage network consisting of just one node that is not very sure about its disk status (out/in service) and two booting servers.
Ceph is a very robust storage and very resilient, so it survived this usually catastrophic situation just fine, but it took its time.
Shortly before 1:00 CEST i decided to roll back the change and ran again via the internal notwork links for Proxmox instead the dedicated for the storage solution.
This is by far not optimal, but working.
I will continue to work on the storage backend for sure, but will announce maintenance work beforehand, approx. 2 hours in advance.
So, sorry again for the downtime!
