Samsung has begun destroying consumer RMA's
I had a friend send out a z fold that was under warranty untill October recently, and they claimed the hinge creating the crease wear was under warranty and did the repair under warranty then once they started preparing the shipment they magically said it was out of warranty and the warranty has been voided for LCD damage! This sounds a LOT like their TV repair scandle! I was told a Samsung rep would contact my friend over the phone but once they do that it's going to be available on YouTube and Twitter for everyone to enjoy. I'm going to tell them that it's not possible for device damage to happen after a in warranty repair has been done and is preparing for shipment without someone at the company doing that, and I will draw contrary to the TV slicing video. I am going to tell them they are going to have a chargeback for holding the device hostage and damaging it. If anyone has had any similar experiences lately please comment here.
