I am reminded of how, for a while, people couldn't figure out how to correctly pronounce Barack Obama's first name. Was the stress on the first or second syllable?
The psychological effect of rolling an unfamiliar name around on your tongue actually has a familiarizing effect. Is it KA-mala or Ka-MA-la?
