Here I was last Wednesday, volunteering at Nenthead Lead Mine. Peter, the director of the mine society, was labouring and took photo. I of course am not working but talking to someone about walls. Happens more and more these days!
It's a 'problem' walling in a public place because the person I'm talking to is asking if I can quote to repair a garden wall in Alston. I'm smiling because I'm trying to let them down gently. The wall behind was part repaired 5 years ago but covid got in the way.
