I have a VM running ubuntoy AKA ShitpileOS, acting as a qemu/kvm hypervisor for guests using Alma, OmniOS LTS, OmniOS latest, NetBSD, Debian, Fedora, FreeBSD, Openindiana Hipster, Oracle Linux 6 and 7, and Solaris 10 x86. Eleven proper operating systems running on top of a pretend one, VMs within VMs.
Maybe if ubuntoy sees these proper operating systems up close often enough, it might eventually try to become one when it grows up.
Screenshot of a Linux session listing a number of virtual machines (guests), three of which are simultaneously running, with some command output executed on them.
