Since I'm on overnights now for the summer, it wasn't till I woke up that I learned about The Event. I know thinking about it is bad for both my physical and mental health, so I knew I needed a good ride despite my recent trouble. My body and mind mostly complied by letting me do 50mi today for the first time since my latest setback. And near the end, when a pickup with a big "FJB" sticker passed me, my simmering rage told me I need to take the rest of today off from ... well, everything. Seeya.
