My husband and I went to see Borderlands tonight. The best I can say about it is that it’s not as bad as the reviews say it is.
But it’s not good, either.
Independent of the fact that the Borderlands story was butchered, it’s just… not good. It’s watchable. The pacing is meh, there’s almost zero character development, and the plot is obvious even if you know nothing about the franchise. It’s trying way too hard to be everything except Borderlands.
Don’t bother watching it if you’re a fan.
