I love proton mail, yet paying for privacy sounds severely fucked up and dystopian.
And yes, I know they have a free plan, but it feels like running with ankle weights.
1) You can't link your account to Thunderbird in the free plan. So you're stuck with having your workflow spread across.
2) You can't automatically delete emails in the trash for more than 30 days
3) No 1 click way of clearing the trash if emails span across multiple pages.
