My contribution to #Saturdoom this week is another tale of shipwreck, but this time it is based on true events from the Faroe Islands.
Hamferð bemoans the story of 14 whalers that lost their lives in a shipwreck in 1915 that was witnessed from the shores.
The tittle "Men Guðs hond er sterk" is a quote from a surviver who focused on the miracle that some survived by saying: "But God's hand is strong.".
I really like the contrast between hope and despair on this record.
