Trying to get officially married in Germany 🧵
1. Go to your city's website
2. Find out that you need an officially sanctioned printout of your birth register entry.
3. Go to your birth town's website
4. Find out that you need an officially sanctioned copy of your ID card.
5. Go to your city hall, pull a number, wait for an hour
6. Get that printout, pay 5 Euros each
7. Find out on the phone that your birth town actually doesn't need the printout (but your finacées birth town does)
