EventSource: Native Browser Streaming API
EventSource is a Web API that enables real-time communication from a server to a client using server-sent events (SSE). It establishes a persistent connection, allowing the server to send updates in a simple text format.
Fun fact, it was first specified in 2004, so it exists for a while already.
