The US comes up with a law in 1930s, that prevents NGOs from being funded by foreign countries. Mostly in response to Germany funding Nazi aligned political parties in the US.
Georgia, the country, tries to introduce the same law in 2024.
EU & the US, label this law, “Russian law" and lobby Georgia not to introduce it.
EU threatens their politicians with assassination(!), not to introduce it.
Georgia introduces it.
EU holds back the funding to Georgia.
